Bengaluru: M Venkaiah Naidu, the senior leader of Bharatiya Janata Party, on Thursday said that it was not fair to rethink on the matter of alliance between the Bharatiya Janata Party and Telugu Desam Party.
He addressed the media at Bengaluru and said that the thriving of Modi was equally good to either party. He said for a better Andhra Pradesh, it was a dire need that the two parties should come together to join hands. Reacting to the dissent of TDP leaders over the selection of candidates for looming elections, Venkaiah Naidu reacted as above.
From the other end, Chandrababu Naidu has reportedly held talks with the top leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party concerning the alliance of the two parties in Seemandhra region. It is learnt that he has reportedly explained the BJP leaders regarding problems on the cards with the nominations filed by weak candidates. Since last night, he has been discussing the matter of alliance with BJP. Prakash Javadekar has reached Hyderabad to tackle the very issue.
