Seemandhra capital verdict committee to meet first on April 24. The committee set up for deciding the new capital of Andhra Pradesh will meet up for the first time on April 24 in Delhi.

Delhi: The committee set up for deciding the new capital of Andhra Pradesh will meet up for the first time on April 24 in Delhi. The committee headed by retired IAF Officer KC Sivaramakrishnan will be discussing the modalities of selection of the new capital of Andhra Pradesh.
The team has been given the modalities on such matters like setting up of Rajbhavan, Secretariat, Assembly, State Council, High Court, Guest Houses and various other infrastructures. The committee will be discussing the issue of the most suitable places for the establishment of new capital of Andhra Pradesh.
In a similar vein, the committee set up for the distribution of the employees of All India Services – Sinha Committee – will be meeting on Tuesday to discuss the modalities. It is learnt that the officials belonging to either region will be distributed according to their cadre. However, the modalities haven’t been finalized.
