Andhra Pradesh: Employees Division Process to Consider Nativity. It has been decided that the process of division of employees between the two emerging states out of Andhra Pradesh – Telangana and Andhra Pradesh (Seemandhra) was decided to be completed by May 25.
Hyderabad: It has been decided that the process of division of employees between the two emerging states out of Andhra Pradesh – Telangana and Andhra Pradesh (Seemandhra) was decided to be completed by May 25. A provisional list will be issued by dividing the employees in accordance with their nativity. According to sources, the Kamalnathan committee has decided to consider GO 610 for division of employees. According to this G.O., the nativity of the individuals is decided by their education record from class IV to class X. Wherever an individual completes his four years of studies will be considered as his native. The remaining employees will be considered as the employees of Andhra Pradesh. There was no separate orders required to be issued for such residual employees, added the officials of Kamalnathan committee.

However, the last tread of division of employees will be opted only after the establishment of two governments, as decided by the state advisory committee. The matter will be discussed with either government, before finalising the issues. They said it was not possible to finalise the things before the establishment of governments in either state.
The Advisory committee will be meeting on May 8 for finalising the guidelines under the chairmanship of Kamalnathan, a senior IAS official. The meeting will be attended by Chief Secretary Mohanty, Finance Chief Secretary PV Ramesh, and Chief Secretary for Drinking water Nagireddy etc.
The decisions made during this meeting will be required to be approved by the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. As per the existing norms, once the elections are completed, Prime Minister will not be in a position to take decision on any vital issues. So, the entire process is to be completed before May 12. Many issues like spouse related issues, community related issues etc will be included for discussions.
