Lagadapati: It’s TRS in TelanganaHyderabad: Former Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal on Saturday said that the TRS would emerge as the single largest party and form the government in Telangana on its own and in Seemandhra the polling percentage would determine the fate of the TDP and YSR Congress parties. Not disclosing the number of seats the TRS or other parties would win in Telangana, he said a survey conducted him says that TRS would get a majority seats in Telangana, followed by the Congress party. The TRS, he said, would get enough seats to form the government on its own. He said he was not giving the number of seats that each party would win in view of the ban imposed by the Election Commission on exit polls.

Rajagopal said that the winning prospects of the TDP would depend on the polling percentage, but according to his reading, the Telugu Desam has every chance to win a majority of MLA seats in the Seemandhra if the voter turnout crosses 70 per cent. The more the turnout the better for the TDP, he added. Stating that film actor and Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan’s campaign in support of TDP and BJP alliance has created an impact on Seemandhra politics, he said the BJP-led NDA would get a majority seats at the Centre and would form the government.
