Mullapudi Sriramamurthy Passes Away. An eminent Mrudangam player Mullapudi Sriramamurthy breathed his last on Thursday at CNR Hospital in Visakhapatnam. He was admitted at a hospital recently, as he had not been doing well.

He was admitted at a hospital recently, as he had not been doing well.

He extended his musical support to almost all eminent players of other instruments in their concerts. He was decorated by many organisations with many awards and rewards. He was born on April 8, 1943 at Peddapuram in West Godavari. He joined Akashvani in 1965 and worked till 2002 in Visakhapatnam division. He was survived by wife Nagamani and two sons, while his daughter Rajyalakshmi died in the past. He was offered tributes by eminent musicians and leaders.
