Chandrababu Naidu Counters YS Jagan. Chandra Babu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, finally reacted on the comments of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the leader of opposition and the Chief of YSR Congress Party against the latter’s comments that Chandra Babu should be booked under case 840 (double to that of 420) for cheating farmers in Loan Waiver.

Speaking to the media after the cabinet meeting, Chandra Babu said, “There are people who came newly to Politics. They are new and weak on subject. Sadly they do not have the anxiety to learn too”.

Chandra Babu also reminded Jagan that his father during his tenure was against the loan waiver conducted by the then government. Chandra Babu made mockery of the media that it is not up to his stature to respond to such low comments. Chandra Babu also hurled potshots on Congress leaders terming them ‘as those who disappeared with out a trace’ and ‘those who could not manage to get back their deposits’. It is clear that he was referring to Congress PCC Chief Raghuveera Reddy and other leaders of that party.

It is evident that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on last Thursday and Friday repeatedly said that he would wait for one more month before he would go on protest along with the farmers in the matter concerning crop loan waiver. He addressed the media in Srikakulam and said that it was a common practice that the rescheduling of loan is done by RBI for all those farmers against the loss of crop. Further, he said that Chandrababu Naidu has been deceiving this issue and has been trying to get a credit out of this. YS Jagan said that Chandrababu Naidu who promised the farmers earlier to waive off their loans has not even sought clarity on this matter, so far. He said that the bankers have been putting pressure over the women for loan repayment and the same has not been considered by Naidu. He wondered that people who deceive are prosecuted under Section 420 and wondered about what Section suits for Naidu, indirectly hinting that the same was equally applicable to Naidu.
