Dowry case against Rambha & brother, A dowry harassment complaint has been filed against actress Rambha and her brother Srinivas at Banjara Hills police station on Tuesday.

Hyderabad: A dowry harassment complaint has been filed against actress Rambha and her brother Srinivas at Banjara Hills police station on Tuesday. In her complaint, Pallavi, wife of Srinivas, alleged that her husband Srinivas and sister-in-law Rambha, had been harassing her for additional dowry. Pallavi also alleged that she had been continuously harassed by Srinivas and also accused the parents of her husband of supporting him in his demand for more dowry.
Police received the complaint under Section 498 A (husband or relative of husband subjecting wife to cruelty) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The police said that they were investigating into the complaint before filing a case.
Incidentally, Rambha is married to a Canada-based businessman, Indra Kumar. Ever since her marriage, Rambha has been living in Canada.
