Mangalyan 60 days away from Mars

MOM informally called, Mangalyaan was launched by ISRO into Earth orbit’s on November 5, 2013 and set to orbit around our neighboring planet on September 24, 2014. The spacecraft carrying five instruments picked up speed by revolving around the earth and left earth's atmosphere on December 1 last year. The Mission is estimated to have cost the country around Rs.450Cr, which is the lowest of its kind.
