After working for few years in IT, Vishwas Avathi realized that he wasn't meant for that. Fortunately for him, he had a passion of photography, which eventually extended to film-making. After all life is not all about making money, at least for him. "There's nothing like doing what you like and to be your own boss," says Vishwas. He has been doing photography for over a decade now and made it his profession since 2010.

His wolf-pack includes his cousin Chiranth and his wife Shobha.

Along with Candid wedding photography and films, they also do music videos, documentaries and travelogues. To name a few, his music video "Smoke and Mirrors" for Canadian singer Drew Smith was a big hit that received more than 2 lakh views on Youtube in just few weeks, which was also featured in NewYork times. This was followed by another music video for Canadian singer Christine Leakey.

While Vishwas love to travel, filming the travel is further fun for him. Vishwas' team has travelogues of Bangkok, Istanbul, England, Scotland and many other national destinations.

Vishwas has also done many video projects for Raghu Dixit, a musician known globally. vishwas is currently working on a couple of music videos and tour documentaries with them.

Another hit video was "Odissi Odyssey", Odissi dancer Ashwini Raghupathy dancing in public at various landmarks of Bangalore. This video came very close to the public.

Vishwas also covers weddings are something fun to cover. Happy faces, colorful elements, different cultures and mainly the special moments of bride and groom!

His tools include Canon 5D Mark II, 5D Mark III with 5 lenses, few GoPro cameras with accessories, Glidecam and Shoulder rigs for stabilization and a recent addition of DJI Phantom (quadcopter).

"I mainly use Adobe products for editing (Premier Pro & After Effects)," he says. Vishwas recently tried his hand at Kannada feature film called "A Day In The City." "So far, I am liking it. The film is currently in the editing stage and hopefully hit theatres soon," he signs off.
