Following this incident, the Tahasildar was allegedly attacked by the TDP local cadre for accepting the representation of the YSRCP leaders. Even then the police kept mum on the issue, reportedly.

The YSRCP leaders immediately sit-in for the dharna against the silence of the police and the attack of the TDP leaders. Countering the same, the TDP leaders also went on protest creating a commotion locally. Police rushed the spot to take the situation under their control.
