IRCTC doles out pilgrimage packages, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has introduced special pilgrimage package tours by chartered train coaches to Sabarimalai, Rameswaram, Varanasi, Delhi-Agra-Jaipur-Mathura-Vrindavan, Gaya and Prayag.
Hyderabad: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has introduced special pilgrimage package tours by chartered train coaches to Sabarimalai, Rameswaram, Varanasi, Delhi-Agra-Jaipur-Mathura-Vrindavan, Gaya and Prayag.
The package tours include confirmed reservation in trains, hotel accommodation and road transport with guide. A discount of 5 per cent is being given by IRCTC on counter bookings for these packages.
The four nights/five days Secunderabad-Sabarimalai pilgrimage, which will be operated from 15th November 2014 - 20th January 2015, and Vijayawada-Sabarimalai package, which will be operated from 15th November 2014 - 10th January 2015, will cost Rs 4,178 per person. Visiting sites include Vaikom, Kaduthuruthy
and Ettumannor temples, Sabarimalai Ayyappa Darshan and Abhishekham, village back-water cruise etc. Andhra food is included in off board service.
The five nights/six days Sec’bad-Rameswaram package that starts on 13th and 20th August and 17th September, 2014 from Secunderabad will cost Rs 7,581per person.
