KCR releases Rs25 cr for Gajwel development, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has released Rs 25 crore to Gajwel Area Development Authority. A GO to this effect was issued on Wednesday.

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has released Rs 25 crore to Gajwel Area Development Authority. A GO to this effect was issued on Wednesday. These funds would be utilised for various development activities in the assembly constituency represented by KCR.

It may be mentioned here that government issued orders on June 26 to constitute Gajwel Area Development Authority with Medak Collector as its Chairman. This decision was taken by KCR to transform the constituency into a model constituency in the entire State.

Apart from Collector, a special officer (in the grade of deputy collector) would also be appointed who would work under Collector for overall development of the constituency. This authority will ensure basic amenities like roads, drinking water, health and education facilities, and creation of infrastructure among other things.
