Hyderabad: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) on Thursday promised to enhance facilities for people in its operational locations.

Pasala Krishna Rao, Executive Director of Asset Manager, ONGC Rajahmundry, handed over cheques worth Rs 64 lakh to East Godavari District Collector Neetu Prasad at Kakinada. The financial assistance was extended for provision of basic infrastructure facilities, potable water and improving other basic civic amenities in various mandals of the district.

The ONGC under the umbrella of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, always looked for opportunities to cater to people's needs and provide necessary support in critical sectors such as Education, Health, Culture, Water Management, Krishna Rao said in a statement.
