Hyderabad: News is making rounds that the former Chief Justice of India Sadasivam will be replacing ESL Narasimhan, the present governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states. It is learnt that the Centre is keen to appoint Justice Sadasivam, who recently retired from the service, as the common governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, in place of ESL Narasimhan, reportedly. It is also learnt the same was discussed with him by few close allies of the honourable retired judge. Hyderabad being the joint capital of both the sates, the centre is reportedly considering Sadasivam for the crucial post as he could very well look into the law and order aspects of the capital city during this vital period.
It is evident that ESL Narasimhan, the common governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, was grilled by the CBI officials concerning the Augusta case. Details have been collected from the governor by the CBI. A huge sum of Rs 360cr has been gulped up in the total contract of Rs 3600cr. The CBI has recorded the statement of ESL. Also, the other governors who are also involved in the case have already reigned. In this milieu, the name of Sadasivam is making rounds in the political circles, reportedly.
