Hyderabad: A 28-year-old software engineer working in an MNC allegedly committed suicide by hanging in her bathroom at Kukatpally residence late on Saturday night, the police said.
The techie, Vimala, hailing failing from Sakhinetipalli in East Godavari district was working for an MNC in Madhapur and was living with her parents at Kukatpally.
According to police, on Saturday she had a heated argument with her parents over her marriage. Her father Suryaprakash who was trying to get matrimonial alliance for Vimala, finally settled for one and the marriage was scheduled for August. Disheartened over this, she locked herself in the bathroom and used a towel to hang herself.
