A role on par with Naresh

Making a comeback with Allari Naresh’s untitled film, actress Karthika Nair says she is playing a powerful role in the film, which revolves around a brother (Naresh) and sister (Karthika). “I play a hero on par with Naresh. My character Lucky is massy, bold and required a lot of stunts. It’s a rarity for actresses ro get such kind of roles,” she said speaking to the media in Hyderabad on Monday.

Naresh says it’s a film where the siblings, for a change, will leave the audience in splits. “Karthika has pulled off stunts with ease,” he said and added, “We want the audience to come up with the title for the film. We’ve even started a contest on social networking sites. Those who come up with the best title will be rewarded.” A comedy entertainer, the film, directed by ‘Veedu Theda’ fame Chinni Krishna, is expected to release in September. The films shooting will be wrapped by August first week.
