Nagarjuna Sagar Dam Attains Better Water Level. After a long time, water inflow has been increased to the Nagarjuna Sagar dam in Nalgonda district. The maximum height of the dam is 590 feet with a capacity of 11,472 million cubic meters.

The present water level maintained at the dam is 511.2 feet. The inflow of water is 35000 cusec, while the outflow is 1800 thousand cusec.

Nagarjuna Sagar Dam is a masonry dam on the Krishna River at Nagarjuna Sagar on the border of Nalgonda district of Telangana State and Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh State.
