Prominent actor Mukkuraju has passed away at 83 at his hometown in West Godavari. The actor won Nandi Award for Best Character Actor in 2008 for his last film "1940 Lo Oka Gramam". He entered the film industry as a choreographer and worked in more than 1000 films.
He choreographed for legendary actor NTR. The actor was not in the pink of his health for past few months. Narayana Murthy's films are incomplete without Mukkuraju and his songs. Popular dancer and director Prabhu Deva was assistant to the actor who was cast as hero and villains in few films. He a formed dance association and encouraged dancers in Telugu industry.
