The Task Force Police has seized Ganja worth Rs 20L in Visakhapatnam district, early on Tuesday. The police have carried out a snap check at Eguva Sampalu of Paderu Mandal in Visakhapatnam district and seized a huge quantity of Ganja being illegally transported in a car. More details are awaited.

Visakha has become the hub for illegal transportation of Ganja. It is worth recollecting that most recently on last Thursday the Task Force Police has seized Ganja worth Rs 16L in Visakhapatnam district. The police have carried out a snap check at Pashuvula Banda of Chinthapalli Mandal in Visakhapatnam district and seized a huge quantity of Ganja being illegally transported in a car. Apart from seizing the Ganja and the car, the police have arrested two reprobates and recovered Rs 92K in cash from them. Also, many such cases have been registered by the police in the last couple of months.
