No liplocks please!

While many actresses today feel that lip-locks and skin show are a part and parcel of the showbiz, Nanditha Raj, who was last seen in ‘Lovers’, begs to differ. “I have a few boundaries for myself and I will not cross them. Lip-locks and skin show are a strict no-no for me,” said the 19-year-old actress who is receiving rave reviews for her performance in the film.

The petite actress says that despite having dabbled in a Malayalam film, ‘London Bridge’, Tollywood is her home. “Whichever industry I go to, my first preference will always be the Telugu cinema industry,” she added.

Though she made a debut in ‘Neeku Naaku Dash Dash’, Nanditha received recognition with Maruthi’s ‘Prema Katha Chitram’ which went on to become a box-office success.

But the actress says she wishes to do different roles like Sridevi in ‘Kshana Kshanam’. “I am also a fan of Anushka’s choice of roles. If I have the chance, I want to try something like both of them,” she asserted adding that she is happy that she is able to play roles that suit her age now.

While she has played the cute, bubbly girl most of the time, she says her role in ‘Lovers’ is something that she doesn’t relate to.

“Unlike my character in the film, I believe that love is a beautiful emotion,” she says. However, she quickly adds with a grin, “But I am not in love and have never been the cause fo anyone’s breakup!”
