TRS party’s Medak ticket on sky-scraping demand
Medak Lok Sabha bi-election is in the eyes of every political party in Telangana state. The seat that fell vacant with the resignation of K Chandra Sekhar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, is all set to go for a by poll on September 13.

Pointless to say that TRS is the blistering choice for the seat and there is so much of the demand for the party ticket. G Deviprasad Rao, chairman of the Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers Association (TNGO) and Mynampalli Hanumantha Rao who joined TRS just before the election and lost in Malkajgiri are expecting the ticket from one end.
From the other end, there are several rich persons without any political background who eye the ticket since a win is almost on the cards. Reportedly, Sony Travels owner K Prabhakar Reddy, rich elite with assets worth more than Rs 1,000cr, and Mahidara Constructions promoter Prashanth Reddy, with assets more than Rs 2,000 crore have already started lobbying for the ticket and are ready to offer a huge sum to the party’s fund in return to the party’s ticket.
