YSRC Party leader Vijaya Reddy joins TRS
YSR Congress Party leader and late PJR’s daughter, Vijaya Reddy joined TRS party along with hordes of supporters on Wednesday.
Her massive rally leads to traffic chaos
Hyderabad: YSR Congress Party leader and late PJR’s daughter, Vijaya Reddy joined TRS party along with hordes of supporters on Wednesday. She said she would strive to realise ‘Bangaru Telangana’ dream of the people besides strengthening TRS in State capital.
Nizamabad MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha welcomed her into the party. Also present were Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali, Home Minister Naini Narsimha Reddy, Rajya Sabha MP Keshava Rao. Addressing the gathering, Kavitha said Vijaya Reddy was like a sister to her. With Vijaya’s joining, she hoped that TRS flag would fly high in ensuing GHMC elections. Kavitha stated that more key leaders from other parties in the city were in touch with the top brass of TRS and would switch loyalties towards TRS in the coming days.
Meanwhile, commuters faced severe hardships due to massive rally undertook by Vijaya Reddy from Khairatabad till TRS office in Banjara Hills.
She paid floral tributes to her father P Janardhan Reddy’s statue at Khairatabad Chowrastha and then kick-started the rally.
Traffic personnel had a tough time in regulating traffic on busy Khairatabad and Banjara Hills route. Police officials reportedly said there was no permission sought for the rally.
