Hyderabad: The Pratyush Sinha Committee which met at New Delhi on Friday finalised the allocation of All India Service (AIS) officers for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States. The meeting was attended by I Y R Krishna Rao and Rajiv Sharma, the Chief Secretaries of AP and TS respectively.

It is learnt that 211 officers have been allotted to Andhra Pradesh while 163 were given to Telangana State. Full details have been uploaded on the website of Department of Personnel and Training (persmin.gov.in).

According to sources, there is no change of allocation as far as Rajiv Sharma and in-charge TS DGP Anurag Sharma are concerned. IPS officers including Commissioner of Police Cyberabad C V Anand, Sivadhar Reddy, chief of intelligence, TP Das, Rajiv Trivedi and Vinay Kumar have been allocated to Telangana State. J V Ramudu will continue to be the DGP of Andhra Pradesh. The other IPS officers allocated to Andhra Pradesh are Vivek Dube, Bhoopathi Babu, Kaumudi, R P Thakur, Vinay Ranjan, IA Tripathi, Santosh Mehra, Umesh Sharaf, Anjani Kumar, Anjana Sinha, Rajiv Rathan, Harish Kumar Gupta, Amit Garg, Ashok Prasad, S Huda and Eesh Kumar.

IAS officers including TTD EO M G Gopal, Ajay Mishra, Rajeshwar Tiwari, A K Parida, Rahul Bojja, J S V Prasad, Santha Kumari, Anil Kumar Singhal and Sanjay Kumar are allotted to the Telangana cadre.

IAS officers allocated to AP cadre include the Chief Secretary I Y R Krishna Rao, Satish Chandra, Ajay Jain and Swetha Mohanty.

The Pratyush Sinha Committee will give one week time for submitting objections, if any. Later, the final list will be placed in the public domain, the sources said.

Once, the AIS officers are allocated to respective States, the AP and the TS governments will issue orders for their postings. The entire process of allocation of AIS officers would be completed by the month-end.
