According to highly placed sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is mighty pleased with ESL's pro-active step to break the ice between Chandrababu Naidu and K Chandrashekar Rao.
When ESL called Modi to update the PM on the happenings during the meeting, Modi is believed to have lauded his efforts and asked him to continue his efforts towards making peace between the two CMs. Modi also sought regular reports on the issues of the state, it is learnt.
ESL is believed to sought special status to Andhra Pradesh from Modi and also requested release of funds from the Centre.
