In the year 2010, Nithyananda Swami faced rape charges and the court had directed him to undergo a potency test to prove his innocence which the godman has refused much to the disgust of the court.
The Supreme Court not only expressed its displeasure over not complying with its instructions but also ruled that potency test was mandatory.
The police too got a earful on delaying the investigation and going easy on Nithyananda case.
