Vijayanagaram: Lorry overturns; driver, cleaner dies, Early on Wednesday, on the National Highway No 16, a lorry overturned on the Nathavalasa bridge of Pusaregapati Mandal in Vijayanagaram district.
Hyderabad: Early on Wednesday, on the National Highway No 16, a lorry overturned on the Nathavalasa bridge of Pusaregapati Mandal in Vijayanagaram district. In this incident, the driver and the cleaner of the lorry died on the spot. The police and highway authorities rushed the spot and began the rescue measures. The lorry which was on its way to Visakhapatnam from Srikakulam fell into the Champavathi River after it became irrepressible on the Nathavalasa Bridge and hit the railing of the bridge. While the cleaner died on the spot, the driver died undergoing treatment in a nearby hospital. More details in the matter are awaited.
