EAMCET Medical counselling begins today
After so much of deliberations and developments at last the counselling for EAMCET Medical stream has begun at 9 a.m. on Saturday. For both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states the NTR Health University will be conducting the joint admission process.

As many as 5 online counselling centres have been established in either state. JNTU in Hyderabad, Kaktiya University in Warangal, Andhra University in Visakhapatnam, SV University in Tirupathi and NTR University in Vijayawada are undertaking the counselling process. The counselling which began at 9 a.m. will continue till September 5. It is learnt that the states have decided that the seats will be allocated to the students hailing from the respective parent state, reportedly.
It is evident that after the Supreme Court verdict, the two Telugu states pulled the curtains down on the ongoing wrangling over the issue of holding joint counselling for EAMCET. The authorities of either state have agreed to hold joint counselling from August 14. Continuing the same tempo, now the notification for medical counselling was to begin counselling on Saturday.
