A special CBI court here today dismissed the petition of YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on seeking the permission to travel in Bangalore.

On Monday, the court considered the CBI request not to grant permission and said that Jagan cannot do outside travel.

Earlier, the CBI arrested Jagan on corruption charges. The central agency has so far filed 10 charge sheets against Jagan.

The case relates to alleged investments made by private firms and individual investors in Jagan's companies as a quid pro quo for government favours when his father, late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy was Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister.

YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's request to the court seeking permission to visit Bangalore was rejected.
