The actor who commands a great fan base across social networking sites has trended once again on his birthday on the micro-blogging site. The only face of Tollywood to do so, this is the fourth time in a row that he has trended on his birthday.
While the actor, as usual, abstained from birthday celebrations, his fans ensured that Twitter was flooded with #HappyBirthdayPawanKalyan tweets from Monday night so much so that the actor was at the top of India-wise trends for a good time period on Tuesday. Not just the fans, his co-stars and industry colleagues, cutting across south industries, too, took time to wish the Twitter phenomenon. And for the people who were surprised to see Pawan’s name trending, a tweet from the handle @KartikDayanand summed it up. It read, “In case someone is wondering why #HappyBirthdayPawanKalyan is trending. He is the Salman, SRK & Aamir of Telugu cinema rolled into one.”
On the other hand, the actor’s fans who might have been a disappointed lot as they did not have a chance to get a glimpse of the first look of his forthcoming ‘Gopala Gopala’, his nephews Sai Dharam Tej and Varun Tej made up for the loss by releasing the teasers of their current ventures, ‘Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham’ and ‘Mukunda’, respectively. Not just that! Pawan’s ex-wife Renu Desai also unveiled the theatrical trailer of her Marathi directorial venture, ‘Ishq Wala Love’ on Tuesday. In fact, she even had great news in store for Pawan’s fans. “Akira is doing a guest role in #IshqWalaLove, so happy as a mother that I’m the producer& director of his debut film (sic),” she posted on her timeline. Well, looks like the actor’s fans have got a perfect birthday gift. Do they need to ask for more?
