‘A Shyam Gopal Varma’ film soon

Actor Shafi who plays the title role in ‘A Shyam Gopal Varma film’ says that director Rakesh Srinivas worked on the script for two years before he came to him. “Only after reading the bound script, I decided to be a part of the project. Most of the scenes are very realistic,” he says. Rakesh says the film narrates the consequences that Shafi faces for making gory films. Produced by industrialist Vijaya Kumar Raju, the film also stars Zoya Khan, Shiva Krishna, Jayaprakash Reddy, LB Sriram and Prithvi in supporting roles. “We will get the first copy soon after which we will release the film,” says the producer.
