The film is a remake of the superhit Telugu movie Venkatadri Express which featured Sundeep Kishan and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles.

The film is about two youngsters who meet on a train to Mysore. They are on their way to attend a wedding. Like most lovers, the couple too start off n a bitter note. But how they come together and take a liking to each other forms the crux of the story.
