His role is vital in bringing the right to information act, but that was all the past. Now he is nowhere to be seen in the political picture. Yes, he is Jaya Prakash Narayana.
He used to be an active member in the national advisory committee. He made things happen for the poor and the backward. He had the direct access to the PMO and the prime minister himself.
That was all before he started Lok Satta party. The entire scenario changed once his new party was established. His past was forgotten, he became a common politician in the eyes of the public.
Before the bifurcation of the state, Jaya Prakash Narayana used to be MLA of Malkajgiri in Hyderabad. Nevertheless, in the later election even that position was lost. Lok Satta’s presence was lost in both the newly formed states.
He resigned his post as state level party leader and took the job as national level party president. He did that for some time, but he even resigned that post to be a party advisor. If him, being a party leader brought Lok satta to this place, what happens if he is just an advisor? The time has to decide where his path leads him to.
