Chiranjeevi’s dance song “Golimaar” from the 1985 movie ‘Donga’ has been doing rounds on the internet after netizens started feeling that the video was a direct rip off of Michael Jackson’s famous track “Thriller”. In a sarcastic tone, netizens say that the late King of Pop might have had some trouble matching the Telugu superstar’s steps that left them “dazed and amazed.”

They even feel that this Indian “Thriller” is quite possibly the best Michael Jackson-inspired video.

With the actor dressed as MJ in shiny red-hot leather jacket and matching pants with zombie-style make up, a crowd of zombie dancers, and a damsel in distress, this version is a treat to the eye.

A zombie dancer rises from the grave with so much swag that he would immediately get a spot in the Best Zombie Club. Chiru’s angry head-turn after being zombie-fied proves that he was the real inspiration behind the back-to-back zoom-in shots from the K-serials. And his PT-like steps are just awesome sauce. All these establish the fact that megastar Chiranjeevi is so awesome that the video has put a non-debatable stamp on it. To conclude, we have come to believe that even MJ could not have carried off these steps that have 50 shades of magnificence over them.

The video was posted by Volga Videos with a revised name in 2012, but has been catching the eyeballs of many since Friday.
