According to sources, a case has been registered against Kodela Ramakrishna, the son of the Andhra Pradesh state assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao, after his own wife alleged that he attacked her late on Wednesday night.

According to sources, the complaint states that Ramakrishna threatened his wife Padma Priya and her parents before he took away their son Goutham, with him. The incident reportedly occurred in Visakhapatnam. Further, she reportedly mentioned in her complaint that the duo have been maintaining disharmony over a period of time.

Also, Padma Priya alleged in her complaint that Kodela Shiva Prasad and his daughter use to harass her. After giving birth to a boy child in 2010, she was repeatedly thrown out of the house, added by Padma in the complaint. She said that not able to cope up with the torture, she started staying with her parents, in the ibid complaint. In due course, said Padma Priya, Ramakrishna along with his supporters attacked her on late Wednesday night and taken away their son. A case has been booked and investigations are on.
