Khammam: RTC bus overturns; 20 people hurt
Early on Thursday, an RTC overturned near Lankapalli village of Penuballi Mandal in Khammam district. In this accident, fortunately there were no causalities.

Hyderabad: Early on Thursday, an RTC overturned near Lankapalli village of Penuballi Mandal in Khammam district. In this accident, fortunately there were no causalities. However, as many as 20 passengers sustained mild injuries. The victims have been rushed to nearby hospital for the treatment. More details in the matter are awaited.
RTC buses which have been known for the safe journey have lost their credibility due to the increased number of accidents over a period of time. More than 10 accidents in which the RTC buses were involved have been registered in the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states in the last couple of months. Surely, something is going wrong. There is a need to conduct regular training to the RTC drivers, at this juncture.
