In this accident, as many as 7 people sustained injuries. The condition of two of the victims is learnt to be very critical.

In another similar incident, early on Tuesday, near Gannavaram in Krishna district, on the national highway, a lorry hit a two wheeler at a high speed. In this fatal accident, a woman killed, while another woman sustained sternly. The victim has been rushed to a nearby hospital. The deceased woman has been identified as Senior Assistant Rama Devi of Veterinary College. More details in the matter are awaited.
