Kakinada: AP Deputy Chief Minister Nimmakayala China Rajappa visited patients afflicted with dengue fever, who are undergoing treatment in Kakinada government hospital.

As many as 15 persons from Thondangi Mandal were admitted to hospital with dengue fever symptoms. Blood samples of eight of them proved positive. He assured people that all precautionary measures would be taken to control the epidemic. The disease was under control. The deputy Chief Minister also made a surprise visit to Peddapuram hospital and enquired about the problems being faced by in-patients. He pulled up the doctors following the complaints from the patients. Action would be taken, if doctors continued to be indifferent towards patients.
