The Japanese government has once again made its interest visible to help Andhra Pradesh government in building a smart capital city between Vijayawada and Guntur regions.

Hyderabad: The Japanese government has once again made its interest visible to help Andhra Pradesh government in building a smart capital city between Vijayawada and Guntur regions.

A high-level Japanese delegation met AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. They are also seem to be keen on power projects including:


• 4,000 MW thermal power project in Visakhapatnam

• 4,000 thermal power Project in Srikakulam

• 2,000 MW solar power Project in Anantapur.

The officials agreed to share technology in agriculture and food processing sectors, cold chains and food parks. They also seem to be interested in setting up of an industrial park, which will have a dedicated utility centre, was also discussed.

Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu is also scheduled to visit Japan in November.
