Swara Tarangini and Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Music College, Vijayawada, jointly organised a concert by Komanduri Seshadri, KAS Rajan and KV Krishna on Tuesday.

The concert opened with Kambhoji ragam in Ata tala varnam of Sri Maha Ganapati and displayed the trio's virtuosi skills right in this number going through two gatis. This was followed by a few more krithis.

“Rara Ma Intiki” (Asaveeri), “Endaro Mahanubhavulu” (Sri Ragam), “Raghuvasa Sudhambudhi Chandrama” (Kadanakutuhala) were the popular numbers the trio played with alacrity applying innovative instrumental skills.

The main offering of the Komanduri trio’s concert was Ragam – Tanam - Pallavi in Shanmukhapriya. The trio essayed the raga bringing out all its beautiful moves, displaying the mastery of the trio in handling the instrument, packed with nuances here and there. The concert was accompanied by MLN Raju on mridangam, M Hari Babu on ghatam.
