Producer Tagore Madhu, who acquired the Telugu dubbing rights of Vijay-starrer Tamil action drama ‘Kaththi’, directed by familiar face AR Murugadoss, is in a catch-22 satiation. The reason for this is the sudden interest of some Tollywood A-listers showing keen interest in the Telugu remake of the film. The Tamil version, which opened on Wednesday all across the globe, is making a killing at the box-office. Had everything gone according to plan, the Telugu version should have released on Wednesday itself, but as the film was embroiled in controversies, the release was differed. But with top T-town producers and stars expressing their interest to star in the Telugu version of the socio-relevant action drama, it remains to be seen whether Madhu will go ahead with the dubbed version or will plan to remake it. Murugadoss’ and Vijay’s earlier film, ‘Thuppakki’, did decent business here.
