Rave party busted, 18 Nigerians held
Police claimed to have busted a rave party on the city outskirts in Medchal area by arresting as many as 18 Nigerians in the wee hours of Friday.
Hyderabad: Police claimed to have busted a rave party on the city outskirts in Medchal area by arresting as many as 18 Nigerians in the wee hours of Friday.
According to Medchal police, acting on a tip-off, cops conducted a raid on Honey Berg Resorts located in Muraripalli, Medchal and arrested 18 Nigerians which included 6 women. An eyewitness said they were seen dancing to obscene dances consuming liquor. According to sources, more than 70 Nigerians were seen partying but when police raided many managed to escape from the spot.
While the arrested Nigerians say it was just a get together, police say they acted on the complaint of the neighbours who were disturbed by the high decibel sounds. Police registered a case against the organisers.
