Hyderabad: Five persons were killed in separate accidents, when they were hit by trains while trying to cross railway tracks in the limits of Kachiguda, Secunderabad and Nampally railway stations.

According to Railway Police, in the first such case, T Ramulu, 55, a mason and resident of Durganagar of Malkajgiri, died while trying to cross the railway tracks between Moula Ali and Malkajgiri on Friday evening. After being hit by the speeding train, he died on the spot.

In a similar case, a-55-year old labourer G Hanumanthu, a resident of Old Malakpet was trying to cross the railway tracks between Kachiguda and Malakpet railway stations on Saturday morning. He also died on the spot. In another case, an unidentified man of about 35 years old died on the spot after he was hit by train while he was trying to cross railway tracks between Khairatabad and Nampally railway stations on Friday evening.

In a similar case, an unidentified man of about 30 years old died on the spot after he was hit by a speeding train while he was trying to cross the railway tracks between Hitec City and Hafeezpet railway stations on Friday evening.

In another case, an unidentified man of about 45 years old died on the spot after he was hit by train while he was trying to cross railway tracks between Sanathnagar and Fatehnagar railway stations on Friday evening.
