Fire on the set of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein

Balaji Telefilms’ show on Star Plus Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has been setting the screen ablaze with its powerful content. But in an unfortunate development, the set of the show was gutted late last night, as per media reports.

Our sources inform that the set based in the Klicknixion studio in Chakala has been damaged badly. 12 fire brigades were brought in to contain the fire. The reason for the flames is still unknown.

The source adds, “The team was shooting at a different hall and suddenly panic struck with fire engulfing one section completely. The fire was a major one and thick smoke surrounded us completely. We were all really scared.”

Thankfully nobody was injured as the team managed to evacuate the place in time.

Actress Divyanka Tripathi, who plays the lead role in the show, confirmed the news and said, “Yes, it is true. It was bad but thankfully all of us are safe. The portion where the Bhalla house is located is completely damaged.”

The set will take some time to get back in shape and the makers are currently planning to shoot at a makeshift location.
