Hyd 10K Run on Nov 30
The Hyd 10 K Run to be held on November 30 will be the first run in Telangana State and is aimed at contributing to the spirit of making the city a greater global icon.

Hyderabad: The Hyd 10 K Run to be held on November 30 will be the first run in Telangana State and is aimed at contributing to the spirit of making the city a greater global icon. The theme of this year’s run is "Happening Hyderabad."
Announcing this at a media conference on Thursday, Uma Prasad Chigurupati, the Chairperson of Hyderabad 10K Run Foundation, said, “Reliance Jio Infocomm has joined them as principal sponsor for the event while the State Government of Telangana would provide necessary support for the event.” She said legendary sprinter Milkha Singh has consented to participate in the run and would be the Brand Ambassador.
The 10 km run would be flagged off from People's Plaza at 6.30 am, while the 7km Maza run would be flagged off at 7 am. Registrations would begin from October 31, she informed.
Jayesh Ranjan, MD, TSIIC, Government of Telangana said, “The Hyderabad 10K Run will be different and expects people from all walks of life to participate in great numbers.
The donations raised from the mega event will be used for cause of the charity purposes.”
Tollywood actress Shriya would also take active part in the great run and inspire people to run for health and piness, Uma added.
