The launch event was graced by some of the renowned Telugu industry members like Balwant Singh from Kauphy Talkies; Naresh; Arvind Krishna; Veera Shankar, President of Telugu Film Directors Association; Madhu Mahankali, producer and director; and Raghu Bellamkonda, producer and director.

The image-recognition platform’s technology that has empowered brands, publishers and advertisers, is now looking to tap the thriving Telugu cinema industry. Augmented Reality (AR) collaborated with the Telugu film industry, associating with some the upcoming Tollywood releases like ‘Dev’, ‘Parampara’, ‘Malliradhoy Life’ and ‘Tokachukka’. The event also showcased an exclusive demonstration of Blippar’s contribution to the evolving digital entertainment industry.

Celebrating the launch of Blippar in Hyderabad, regional director Arnav Ghosh said, “Given the rapid increase in consumption of digital content across sectors especially in movies, the introduction of AR gives an opportunity to the viewers to experience and interact with movie elements in real-time, altering their perceptions, sensations and conceptions about reality.”
