No Telangana on Home Ministry website
The Ministry of Home Affairs the process of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh that which resulted to the birth of India’s 29th state, but the ministry’s website seems to be unaware of the bifurcation.
Hyderabad: The Ministry of Home Affairs the process of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh that which resulted to the birth of India’s 29th state, but the ministry’s website seems to be unaware of the bifurcation.
Telangana does not even exist on the website of the Ministry of Home Affairs. It’s been 4 months since the bifurcation.
The list contains the names of all the states and even the union territories except for Telangana. The map of India, on the website does not include Telangana.
A search on ‘Telangana’ yields no results. This scenario even after the formation of AP and Telangana, with their own separate home departments with two DGPs is really unfortunate. The departments even observed the Police Commemoration Day separately.
