Ram Charan makes a mark!

Creative director Krishna Vamsi made ‘Govindhudu Andarivadele’ as a beautiful family entertainer with little flaws. However, the movie doesn't have enough commercial elements. Absence of Brahmanandam and other leading comedians in the movie has been noticed. Also visibly absent are Ram Charan's mark of dances and fights. In short Ram Charan tried for an image makeover and in that process required commercial elements have been missed in the movie. Despite all these odds, the movie collected Rs 43.35 crores full run share and stood as an above average grosser at the box office and all this was possible with Ram Charan's craze among the people.

Well, what if any other hero does 'GAV'? Looking into the successful films of other heroes, Brahmanandam's factor and other commercial elements played vital roles in the successes of those movies. Some of the heroes have done family entertainers but they were multi-starrers. Moreover, it was due to one or two areas top collections, those movies got respectable figures in the full run collections tally. Consolidating all these factors, it has been speculated that if any other hero did 'GAV' as a hero, the movie would not have collected that much share as 'GAV' collected. Way to go Ram Charan!
