Review

Oru Oorla Rendu Raja presented by S. Michael Rayappan is excellently directed by R Kannan. As the name it self talks about the movie, it is a story of two friends who consider themselves as the kings, who hail from the same village. Vemal in Azhagu’s role and Soori in Mike’s role have given their best in the movie. Priya Anand is presented so beautifully in excellent costumes. She played the role of Priya in this movie. The music scorings by D Imman is an added asset to the movie. However, the BGMs are not so appealing.

As far as the story of Oru Oorla Rendu Raja is concerned, it is a pass through story about two friends - Vemal and Soori as Azhagu and Mike. The duo happens to meet the heroine Priya in a train. She is an educated girl hails from Madurai. As the movie advances, it turns to be a routine love story with embedded comedy element. Vishakha Singh appears in a cameo and Iniya has done a special number in the film.

#OruOorlaRenduRaja ends up being the film we all thought it would be. A walkover if not for @PriyaAnand.
