There is no age limit for studying and it has been proved by AV Swamy aged about 47. Swamy is an advocate by profession who has the zeal to work for the poor and needy. He has always worked in the field of social services.

He is a man with kind heart who never says no to anybody who approaches him for help. Swamy recently got his doctorate in Religion and Social Services in Rural Areas from United Theological Research University accredited by Berkley, California, USA. The Vice Chancellor Dr Fredrick Francis of the University recently visited India and handed him the convocation.

“It’s a big achievement for me. But social service doesn’t need any certificate. This should come from the heart of the person,” says an excited Swamy. He loves his job of helping the poor in rural areas. His main intention in life is to serve the poor.

“Service has been my intention in life right from childhood and this is the reason I am into this field for the past 30 years,” Swamy recounts. He is also a secretary to the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee.
