Hyderabad: The Nampally Court on Monday handed over Greyhounds constable Obulesu, accused in KBR Park shootout, for four days police custody.

Police, in its remand report, mentioned that they took into custody 22 bullets, after searching his house. They also recovered six bullets shells (used) and two dummy bullets from there.

Obulesu, who was housed in Chanchalguda jail, was sent to Banjara Hills police station for further investigation after the court handed over the custody. Police had sought five days of custody, but court gave only four days.

Police will question him on how he gained access to the AK-47. Amongst other questions, they will also seek information on how many people were threatened with the gun and as to how he acquired the bullets.
